Jennifer Duitsman Coy, B.A., J.D.

Ms. Duitsman Coy received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Iowa State
University. She obtained her law degree from Thomas M. Cooley and received a Book Award
for Research and Writing and was on the Dean's List.
Ms. Duitsman Coy specializes in Social Security disability law. She will aggressively handle
your Social Security disability appeal. She aggressively advocates to obtain Social Security
disability benefits for her clients throughout Michigan.
Ms. Duitsman Coy also specializes in elder-care issues. She meets with clients and their families to prepare
wills and trusts, and to prepare estate plans and asset protection strategies to save family assets
when long-term care may be needed.
Ms. Duitsman Coy is a member of the Michigan State Bar, The National Organization of Social
Security Claimants' Representatives, the Social Security Disability section of the Michigan State
Bar, the Criminal Defense Association of Michigan, and admitted to the federal courts for the
Eastern District of Michigan, the Western District of Michigan, and the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court
of Appeals. She is a member of the Institute for Continuing Legal Education Partner program.
She recently attended the Michigan ICLE Probate and Estate Planning Institute (Michigan 2011)
